Hello, I'm Claire. I am a Ceramicist. I create handmade ceramics from my home studio in Wales, U.K. 

My influences are many. Childhood memories around celtic folklore and the botanical world are the main drivers for current work. I am interested in re-enchantment and have been since a child. My coastal surroundings also appear as an influence in some pieces. 

Recently, working with porcelain paper clay, I am striving for a more sculpural aesthetic with ethereal beauty at the forefront of my style. I usually start my work at the wheel, then move to altering and handscultped additions.
